Olá!
My name is Ayana Saito Mira and I'm a Brazilian artist, designer and researcher.
In 2021, I graduated with a degree in Communication, Audiovisual, from the University of Brasília, where I had the pleasure of participating for two years in the Design graduate research group “Amazônia | Graphic Visuality, Poetics, and Imaginary.”
Subsequently, as a MEXT research scholarship recipient, I joined the Science Lab at Tokyo University of the Arts as a researcher in the Graduate School of Advanced Media, where I deepened my studies in Fine Arts, interactive media, and community-based art projects.
Today, I am pursuing my master's in Design at Tokyo Metropolitan University.
As a multidisciplinary artist, I produce work in photography, video, painting, installation, and new media, while community practices, art education, and cultural projects remain a continuous focus in my research in Design and the Arts.
